Jana Zvedeniuk is an Australian actor of Ukrainian heritage. A 2020 Acting Graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), she has recently wrapped the premiere production of YENTL in Australia — directed by Gary Abrahams and staged at the Arts Centre Melbourne, Jana played the title role within the bi-lingual (English-Yiddish) production.
Prior to her main stage debut, she performed as Castiza in Bell Shakespeare's PLAY IN A DAY: REVENGER'S TRAGEDY, directed by Priscilla Jackman.
Since graduating from the VCA, Jana has been actively involved in Australian film and television, appearing in BUMP Season 2 on Stan/BBC in the role of Katarina, and the upcoming Australian feature film SLANT (Exile Entertainment). Jana also plays the role of Young Vicky in Netflix's GLITCH Season 2, directed by Emma Freeman, and has additionally featured in AACTA and Flickerfest nominated short films: WOOF! (dir. Nina Buxton), BACKING UP BILITIS (dir. AP Pobjoy) and FRIENDS OF MINE (Mad Hatter Productions).
In 2016 Jana was nominated as Best Female Actress at the NIFF for her performance in WOOF! and in 2021 was nominated for Best Performance at the Cannes Shorts Film Festival for FRIENDS OF MINE.
In 2022, Jana debuted on the Belvoir stage in TELL ME I'M HERE, and then in 2023 played Yelena in MASTER AND MARGARITA.
